Mailbox ETC in Florence, Italy

MBETCDSCN0713

I have posted a short review on the great service MBX in Florence has given me over the years:  shipping luggage ahead to my next destination so that I can take the train and stop to visit smaller towns that do not have luggage storage, shipping my purchases home as well as my computer so that I did not have to drag everything through the airport and pay the $100 fee for an extra bag and my favorite service, they store my luggage weekly for a fraction of the fee at the train station.

All my trips home to Italy are planned around a visit to Florence and I always visit the Four Women Of Mail Box Etc..

I may only return to Italy once a year and in rare years every 10 months but it does not matter.  When I walk through the door it is as if I am visiting family…..    Perhaps I am just an annoying ‘tourist’ who is continues to come      by and bother the owners but they never indicate anything else but actual joy to see me.

Any I am sure to stop there early in every trip.   They go beyond the services they list on their wall and have received awards for their efforts.    Last December I came down with the flue while in town.   Being too sick to travel I extended my visit.     Who else would I ask for help in finding any medicine that would help but the Four Women Of Mail Box Etc.     Right away a product was suggested to me  as well as the pharachia (drug store) right down the street where I could obtain the medicine.  In addition they gave met the pharmacist's NAME!    This is an example of their kind service!

My Four Women of Mail Box Etc. have also had a following on YouTube.   They reported to me that customers were stopping by saying they say them on the internet!   So this year we updated their  movie and I will share it with you now.   Sorry only  3 of the 4 wonderful owners were present that day.

    1. I have used MBX in other towns too but NO ONE is a great as the 4 Women of Florence. I only take the train in Italy and it is great to leave the bag in Florence and take short trips with an overnight bag.

  5. I wouldn't mind going to Italy. My husband lived in the Rome area back in the late 1970's for a couple years. I see your doing the A to Z daily posting. Why don't you but up the logo so people can see you are. :)

  12. Lee, I wrote a message on their web page last night rather than sending an email. Since I didn't hear back, this morning I called and spoke with Dario at MBX 212. He was extremely helpful, told me the best way to ship and took my son's name. I think we have it all arranged. Thank you for going out of your way to help us. Sincerely, Judy in NM
